What time does the day start and finish?

We offer full day and half day facilities. Typical sessions run from 8.30 - 12.00 and 12.00 - 3.30. Additionally, "wraparaound" care is available between 8.00am and 6.00pm.

Do I need a packed lunch?

Will my child be able to take part in P.E. or Games?

Yes, your child will have the opportunity to play Games twice a week (pumps will be required)

Will my child go swimming?

Yes, we aim to go swimming once a week. The lessons are taught by a qualified instructor and the pool is supervised by an experienced lifeguard. Groups are kept small so as to encourage the children's growth in confidence.

Do we visit places of interest?

Yes, trips are frequently organised to enrich the curriculum

Are there any after school clubs?

Yes, we offer both after school clubs and holiday clubs which are open to all children in the local community. This provides a good opportunity for the children to meet and make friends and try new activities. We also offer a variety of classes after school such as Ballet and Drama.

Is there a school code of conduct?

Yes, we encourage our children by example to be considerate, thoughtful and honest. They are actively encouraged to show respect for others and the world around them. Positive reward systems are used to recognise good behaviour and work.

Is there a school uniform?

We have an optional school uniform which consists of a sweatshirt and a polo shirt, these are available from the school.

What happens if my child is ill?

If your child is suffering from an infectious disease we ask you to keep them home from school until they are given the all clear. If your child is on prescribed medication which must be taken during the day, we are happy to administer it for you provided we receive written instructions. If your child has an accident whilst in our care, we will be responsible for taking appropriate action.

The Manor Kindergarten is located immediately opposite the Overbury cricket ground and adjacent to the Overbury CE First School with whom we have close cooperation. Their website can be found at:

Parents whose children are already registered can use the Short-Form to update their Registration information. A blank copy of this can by obtained by clicking the link below.

You can also access and print the 'All about Me' form which invites you to share relevant information about your child with the Nursery team.

We kindly request that you print any forms you wish to use, prior to completing and mailing them to the address provided on the form.
